RELTTAW DENMARK

Motto: Zero tolerance for ignorance, education is the answer!
Environmental research topics are subjects and ideas related to ecosystems and biology. Scientists and activists may conduct this research to raise awareness or find solutions to preserve the environment and the organisms in it. Learning about these topics can help you brainstorm ideas for research or build an interest in environmental conservation. Research is instrumental to be able to respond to the current and future environmental and health challenges that are so complex and interlinked by nature.
The approach that the project will follow is based on principles of transparency, inclusiveness and mutual learning.
Denmark and sustainability go hand in hand. For the second year in a row, Denmark earns the top spot in the Environmental Performance Index (EPI). EPI is a global sustainability ranking by Yale and Columbia University.

Scientists across the world have provided new evidence and understanding of the environmental challenges faced at global, national, and local levels. They have documented how the build-up of emissions — including air pollution, effluent flows into waterways, mismanaged waste, chemical releases, and greenhouse gas emissions — harms human health and ecosystems.
Denmark isn’t just a country known for its beautiful Nordic landscapes, but it is known for its excellent education system. Seven of its universities are included in world academic rankings.
Also, within the European Union, Denmark has remained a front runner in the push towards developing renewable energy sources, as well as enforcing regulations that support the sustainability of their environment.
When it comes to the environment, Denmark has a reputation for being ecofriendly and forward thinking.Between April 8-15, 2023, official delegates from Denmark, Romania, Italy, Malaysia and Nepal took part, physically, in the first meeting of the RELTTAW International Project (Research on Environment-Learning, Training, Teaching Activities Worldwide), a meeting that had place in Henne, Denmark.

Along with them, delegates from India, Yemen, Nigeria, Russia, Bangladesh, Senegal, Rwanda, Bangladesh, Egypt, Oman joined online.
That’s why I chose Denmark as the first meeting point. The purpose of this project is to do research on environmental protection, to discover and learn new methods that we can all apply in the communities we come from.

I would like to thank our host, Ms. Manuela Dan, who made great efforts and took care of everything, down to the smallest detail. I would also like to thank the official delegates who took part in the project meeting in Denmark: Cornelia Bataus (Romania), Dana Tuicu (Romania), Dr. Malini Eaganathan (Malaysia), Franco D’angelo (Italy), Vim Lal Shrestha (Nepal), Manuela Dan (Denmark), and at the same time, to all those who supported us throughout the development of this program, our partners: Eco Training Center Sweden, ADIafrica, Vision for Excellence International University.
At the end of the program, which will last 2 years, a book will be published with all the articles presented by each delegate, in English. Thus, we will have a tangible finished product, which will help us protect the environment in the future.
Of course, this was just the beginning of a fruitful collaboration, worldwide! We will not stop here, because we strongly believe that our research work will bring added value to humanity, that is why we have already started planning the second meeting, which will be held in India, at the end of October this year.
In conclusion, we expect you to join us, to discover together new methods of protecting the environment, because the earth is our home.
