What initially sparked your passion for nurturing children and getting involved in children’s enrichment endeavors?

I can attribute my passion for nurturing children and getting involved in childrens enrichment endeavors to a few key factors. Firstly, my own upbringing and experiences as a child had a significant impact on shaping my desire to support and guide young people. I was fortunate to have parents and other influential adults in my life who provided a nurturing and SLlpportive environment, and I V€/ always felt a deep sense of responsibility to pay it forward and positively impact the lives of children in my community.

My background in psychology and education has been integral to my work in teaching and coaching hands-on science activities and kids public speaking in several ways.

Firstly, my education in psychology has provided me with a deep understanding of child development, behavior, and learning processes. This knowledge has been invaluable in tailoring my teaching and coaching methods to cater to the individual needs and abilities of each child. I am able to apply psychological principles to create a positive and supportive learning environment, as well as to implement effective behavior management strategies.

Additionally, my background in education has equipped me with a strong foundation in pedagogy, curriculum development, and instructional techniques. This has allowed me to design hands-on science activities that are not only engaging and fun but also aligned with educational standards and promote critical thinking skills. Furthermore, my knowledge of effective teaching methodologies has been instrumental in coaching children in public speaking, helping them build confidence, refine their communication skills, and effectively engage with their audience.

Furthermore, my combined background in psychology and education has given me a holistic understanding of the cognitive, social, and emotional aspects of childrens development. This has allowed me to approach teaching and coaching in a way that considers the whole child, focusing not only on academic growth but also on fostering character development and emotional well-being.

In summary, my background in psychology and education has provided me with the essential knowledge and skills to support and empower children in their learning and personal growth, both in hands-on science activities and public speaking. It has enabled me to create impactful and enriching experiences for children, helping them develop essential skills and confidence for their future endeavors.

Additionally, as I have grown older, I have come to understand the importance of investing in the next generation. Children are the future, and by providing them with enriching experiences and opportunities, we can help shape them into confident, capable, and compassionate individuals who will go on to make positive contributions to society.

Finally, my professional experiences working with children, whether it be through teaching, volunteering, or other forms of involvement, have only served to fuel my passion for nurturing and supporting them. Witnessing the growth, development, and joy that comes from providing children with opportunities to learn, play, and explore their passions has been incredibly rewarding and has only solidified my commitment to being involved in childrens enrichment endeavors. 0vera II, it is a combination of personal experiences, a desire to make a positive impact, and the fulfillment I find in working with children that has sparked and continues to fuel my passion for nurturing and supporting the next generation.

How did your background in psychology and education contribute to your work in teaching and coaching hands-on science innovation projects and kids’ public speaking skills?

Certainly! One of the most impactful experiences that helped me develop my speaking skills was through my involvement in public speaking competitions during my high school and college years. These competitions provided me with the opportunity to hone my abilities to articulate my thoughts clearly, organize my ideas effectively, and communicate with confidence and conviction.

Moreover, my experience as a peer counselor at youth centre enabled me to engage in impactful conversations with individuals facing various challenges. Through active listening and empathy, I learned to connect with others on a deeper level, understand their perspectives, and communicate in ways that were supportive and encouraging. In addition, my role as a teacher in my earlier years allowed me to develop my speaking skills through leading classroom discussions, delivering lectures, and providing academic support to students.

This experience helped me to refine my ability to present complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner, and to effectively engage with a diverse audience. Furthermore, I have been involved in community outreach programs where I have facilitated workshops and training sessions for children and adults. These experiences have given me the opportunity to practice adapting my communication style to different age groups and cultural backgrounds, as well as to refine my ability to capture audience interest and convey information in a compelling and impactful way.

0veraII, these real-world  experiences  have been instrumental in developing my speaking skills and in engaging in impactful conversations. They have allowed me to cultivate a strong ability to effectively communicate, connect with others, and contribute meaningfully to discussions and interactions.

What motivated you to start a preschool and devote your time to coaching your team of teachers?

As a certified trainer of psychology and education, my motivation to start a preschool and devote my time to training teachers stems from a passion for early childhood education and a deep commitment to fostering the optimal development of young children. One of the key motivators behind starting the preschool was the recognition of the critical importance of early childhood experiences in shaping a chillis cognitive, memotional, and social development. Research has consistently shown that quality early education is foundational to a chillis future success and well-being. This understanding, combined with a genuine passion for nurturing young minds, inspired me to establish a preschool as a platform to provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate education and care for young children.

Beyond the preschool itself, I was driven to train teachers in order to extend the impact of my expertise and experience in psychology and education. By sharing my knowledge and best practices with educators, I aim to empower them to create enriching and supportive learning environments, implement evidence-based teaching strategies, and cultivate strong relationships with students and families. Through teacher training, I seek to contribute to the professional growth of early childhood educators, ultimately improving the quality of early childhood education in the community.

In essence, my motivation to start a preschool and invest in teacher training is rooted in a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of early childhood education, and a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of young children and their families while also supporting the professional development of educators. This dedication is underpinned by my commitment to promoting holistic, evidence-based approaches to early childhood education that honor the unique needs and potential of every child.

As a certified trainer of Psychology in Tamil and a member of Johan Speaking Academy, how do you incorporate these skills into your teaching and coaching methods?

  • Public speaking can significantly boost kids confidence by providing them with valuable opportunities to express themselves, showcase their abilities, and

develop essential communication skills. Here s how public speaking can contribute to building confidence in children:

Self-expression: Public speaking invites children to articulate their thoughts, ideas, and emotions in front of an audience. This process encourages self-expression and helps them become comfortable with presenting their viewpoints and experiences, leading to a greater sense of self-assuredness. Overcoming fear: Through public speaking, kids learn to confront and manage the fear of speaking in front of others. As they gradually tackle this challenge and receive positive reinforcement, their self- confidence grows, and they become more adept at managing their fears and anxieties.

Assertiveness: Public speaking allows children to practice assertiveness and convey their messages with conviction. Over time, this strengthens their ability to assert themselves confidently in various situations, fostering a sense of empowerment and self-belief. Effective communication: Engaging in public speaking enhances childrens communication skills, including articulation, vocal projection, and body language. As they become more proficient in these areas, they develop a greater sense of competency and assurance in their ability to communicate effectively with others.

Recognition and validation: Public speaking engagements, whether in school, community events, or competitions,

provide opportunities for children to receive recognition and validation for their efforts and abilities. This positive feedback can bolster their self-esteem and reinforce their confidence in their public speaking capabilities.

In summary, public speaking offers children an avenue to express themselves, overcome fears, develop assertiveness, hone their communication skills, and receive affirmation   these experiences collectively cultivate a strong sense of self- confidence, laying a foundation for their personal and professional growth.
